Get ready Bo Peep & Woody
shippers, it looks like you’ll finally get the relationship you’ve always
wanted in Toy Story 4. With the fourth installment hitting theaters sometime in
2017, it looks like Pixar is finally giving fans a chance to dive deeper into
the Bo Peep character. Will we see actress Annie Potts return to the
character? Only time will tell.
Many fans were satisfied
with how Toy Story 3 ended, and when the movie was first announced it was made
clear that this film will not be a direct continuation of that story. When
speaking with CNBC, John Lasseter mentioned, "At Pixar and at Disney, we
only make sequels if we come up with a story that's as good or better than the
original. That's our rule. We don't do things just to print money."
Pixar has a huge
presentation later this morning at Disney's D23, and we're sure we'll hear more
about the film there. Stay tuned to ComicBook.com for more news at it happens
from the big event.
