Little Girl Runs Up To ‘Santa’ At Grocery Store, His Response Will Melt Your Heart

The Christmas season is such a magical time of year. Whole streets are lit up with twinkling Christmas lights, homes fill with the delicious smells of freshly-baked cookies, everyone’s spirits appear to be merry and bright as they do their present shopping and prepare for the big day.

For children, Christmas is especially magical. They eagerly anticipate the arrival of Santa and his reindeer, trying to hard to be good so they don’t end up on the “Naughty List.” They prepare milk and cookies (and maybe some veggies for the reindeer) to thank Santa and fuel him on his long journey around the world.

A lot of kids will try to sneak down to the tree on Christmas Eve to see if they can catch a glimpse of Santa coming down the chimney, but most never actually see him.

One little girl, though, caught Santa in the middle of his Christmas shopping, and she couldn’t resist going over to say hi!

This adorable little tot was at the store with her parents when she spotted a jolly-looking man with a white beard and a red shirt pushing a shopping cart. No one could fault her for believing she had discovered the elusive Santa!

While some might just smile and say hi and continue on with their shopping, this man (whose real name is Roger) went above and beyond to keep the magic of Christmas alive for this excited little girl.

He knelt down and asked her questions about how she was getting ready for Christmas and asked if she would be leaving cookies out for him. She said yes, but humorously told him he was only allowed one – the rest were for the reindeer!

The two chatted for a couple of minutes until the little girl’s parents told her it was time to let Santa get back to his shopping. After all, he’s very busy this time of year!

We’re sure this little girl went back and told all of her friends about how she had met Santa at the grocery store! What a kind man Roger was to take the time to spread some love and joy that day. Isn’t that what we all should be doing? Not just during Christmas, but all year long!

We all have a little good inside us. Share it today!
