Young Wife Can’t Get Pregnant, Then Her Sister Calls At 10 P.M. To Say ‘Let’s Have A Baby’

Lots of us dream our whole lives of having kids one day.

Of course, it doesn’t matter if you’ve been rocking baby dolls since you were practically a baby yourself, or if it’s something you’ve just started thinking about: as this fake sonogram demonstrates, it’s an intensely personal decision.

In fact, a lot of folks will only share their plans with a few trusted friends and relatives.

That way, you don’t have to field questions from everyone you ever met, and you still have a strong support system, just in case you need your safety net.

When Aimee Morrisby decided to try to get pregnant, one of the people she confided in was her beloved sister, Shayna.

And five years later, when she still wasn’t able to conceive, it was Shayna who stepped up for her sister and spoke four magical words, “Let’s have a baby.”

Aimee Morrisby, pictured above, had spent five long years trying to get pregnant without success.

After so much time spent trying to conceive without success, Morrisby was trying to adjust to the possibility she might never be a mom.

Then, her sister Shayna Wiffen gave her a call out of the blue at 10 o’clock at night.

When Morrisby picked up the phone, she found Wiffen on the line, with an incredible offer: “Let’s have a baby.”

Wiffen, already the mom of two kids of her own, was ready to get pregnant again, but not with her own baby.

This time, she wanted to carry a baby for her sister Aimee, and Aimee’s husband Jake.

When Morrisby was growing up, she was diagnosed with a painful bowel disease that filled her abdomen with scar tissue.

She didn’t realize the extent of the damage until she went to the doctor for the pain at age 21, and learned that her uterus might be compromised.

Her doctor suggested that, if she wanted kids, it would be a good idea to conceive now, or risk never being able to carry a baby.

The Morrisbys went through painful round after round of IVF, and suffered four miscarriages in five years.

A visit to a digestive specialist revealed that Aimee’s uterus was essentially a “big ball of scar tissue.”

She took the new information to her IVF doctor, who realized that her reproductive system would probably never be able to support a full term pregnancy.

The Morrisbys had just begun to make their peace with Aimee’s diagnosis when Shayna made her incredible offer.

After making sure her sister really wanted to do this, Aimee immediately accepted the offer.

Shayna was impregnated with one of the embryos from her sister’s IVF treatments.

For the next nine months, Aimee’s little one grew bigger and stronger in Shayna’s womb.

The sisters were together every step of the way, and both women’s husbands were nothing but supportive throughout the process.

When Shayna began her water birth, Aimee was right beside her, holding her hand and helping her to bring her precious daughter into the world.

Shayna delivered a perfect little girl, and her brother-in-law, Jake, immediately stepped up to cut the cord.

Shayna nestled the beautiful baby for just a few moments before handing her off to Mom and Dad.

They christened her Francesca Louise Morrisby, and today, she’s a happy, bouncing seven-month-old.

For both sisters, it was a truly incredible experience to share Francesca’s birth on such a profound level.

And for Aimee, it gave her a powerful piece of advice for other women struggling to conceive.

As she explain to the Daily Mail: “My biggest advice to mothers that are pushing themselves to the brink is that it is OK to stop trying in your own body. At the end of the day there is no way my own daughter would be as happy and healthy if I had given birth to her.”
