Lexi Walker Performing “The Star-Spangled Banner” On July 4th Will Make You A Proud American

There aren’t many songs that can give me chills every single time I hear them, but there’s no doubt that “The Star-Spangled Banner” is on the top of that list.

It’s a song that makes you really proud to be an American, but it’s also a song that unites us as people from so many different backgrounds and nationalities. We’ve heard everyone perform our national anthem from these adorable little girls called The Cactus Cuties to these heroes in uniform, but this next performance is really something special.

Lexi Walker is quickly becoming the most sought-after young singer when it comes to performing “The Star-Spangled Banner.” After this video of her singing the anthem at a soccer game went viral, she’s been popping up everywhere. When it came time to choose who would sing the national anthem at Brigham Young University’s annual Independence Day “Stadium of Fire” celebration, calling 11-year-old Lexi to the stage seemed like a no-brainer.

With a choir of hundred of adults behind her, Lexi stood before thousands of people, including many United States service men and women, and sang her little heart out. When the fireworks shot off, I couldn’t hold back the tears.

Did this make you feel patriotic or what?! Please SHARE this video on Facebook to celebrate our great nation!
