1500 Year Old Bible Confirms That Jesus Christ Was Not Crucified – Vatican In Awe

Much to the dismay of the Vatican, an approx. 1500-2000 year old bible was found in Turkey, in the Ethnography Museum of Ankara.

Discovered and kept secret in the year 2000, the book contains the Gospel of Barnabas – a disciple of Christ – which shows that Jesus was not crucified, nor was he the son of God, but a Prophet.  The book also calls Apostle Paul “The Impostor”.  The book also claims that Jesus ascended to heaven alive, and that Judas Iscariot was crucified in his place.

A report by The National Turk says that the Bible was seized from a gang of smugglers in a Mediterranean-area operation. The report states the gang was charged with smuggling antiquities, illegal excavations, and the possession of explosives.  The books itself is valued as high as 40 Million Turkish Liras (approx. 28 mil. Dollars).  Man, where is the Thieves Guild, when you need them?

 Authenticity

According to reports, experts and religious authorities in Tehram insist that the book is original.  The book itself is written with gold lettering, onto loosely-tied leather in Aramaic, the language of Jesus Christ. The text maintains a vision similar to Islam, contradicting the New Testament’s teachings of Christianity.  Jesus also foresees the coming of the Prophet Muhammad, who would found Islam 700 years later.

It is believed that, during the Council of Nicea, the Catholic Church hand-picked the gospels that form the Bible as we know it today; omitting the Gospel of Barnabas (among many others) in favor of the four canonical gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.  Many biblical texts have begun to surface over time, including those of the Dead Sea and Gnostic Gospels; but this book especially, seems to worry the Vatican.

The Catholic Church wants in

What does this mean to Christian-derived religions and their followers?  Quite a tight spot.  The Vatican has asked Turkish authorities to let them examine the contents of the book within the Church.  Now that the book has been found, will they come to accept the it and its evidence?  Will they deny it altogether?  Call it a “Muslim lie”, as did the “Truth” Magazine, in 2000?

To many, this book is a beacon of hope, that believers soon realize that the object of their adoration is arbitrary; and that all text, especially religious text, is subject to interpretation.

What does this mean to atheists/agnostics/secular thinkers?  Is the text real?  Fake?  Does it matter?  Hopefully, this news inspires the religious to ask questions, instead of pointing fingers or believing anything blindly.

Please, don’t go poking fun or tossing around the “I told you so!”s.  The biggest danger of faith is when people believe what they want to believe, defending against any and all evidence; especially when that evidence revolutionizes their foundation from the ground up.  And the biggest culprit to that danger is the ego trap: rejecting/criticizing others, for being unlike you.

For centuries, the “defense” of blind faith has driven nations to war, violence, discrimination, slavery and to become the society of automatons that we are today; and for just as long, it has been justified with lies.  If you know better, act like it.

  1. The existence and knowledge of the gospel of Barnabas is not new. The fact that the text has eventually been recovered is not ground breaking. The Muslim community has spoken about this gospel for a long time. I was introduced to its contents in the 80's. The problem that Christians is that Barnabas had a major fall-out with Paul and the other disciples, resulting in a split. Barnabas went his way and the balance of the disciples went on to become known as the first Christians. Barnabas was not 1 of the original 12. He was not 1 of the members of the original Christian community. His words are often in conflict with the others. When the scriptures were selected for binding his work was probably already lost with his parting. His views were not shared amongst any of the other authors. I doubt that this "new" finding will change the views, given that the first set of disciples could not find themselves agreeing with Barnabas's views.

  4. The Gospel of Barnabas is a 16th century text. It makes clear references to Muhammad and contains many anachronisms. Anti-Christians like to bring up this kind of "news" to prove that Christianity is arbitrary and false, which it is, but the reason has nothing to do with the Gospel of Barnabas.

    1. No they do not, Jesus was the first pope who then left the poition to Peter when he told him to continue to build his church. And he meant spread his word not build a building, the church is the community of believers who follow the Lord's word.

  7. this is a load of bs. This is the work of an anti-christ. I read through the whole passage and my conclusion is such, there is no proof because it was written or found as they believe in 2000. Why would barnabas make such a lie. If it were true then there would be more than just one book, more than just one person to work on the book. It is false because everyone around him wrote exactly what they witnessed, since they did that there's no way they'd of all wrote about the same things if it were false. Even Jesus christ himself spoke as it was as well as God. If only barnabas wrote against that then he must of had some reason to try and change the future of christians beliefs. He'd of had a reason to try and make false all of Christ's teachings and make people change their faith. This would only be an act of either an anti- christ, an atheist, a saitanist, a muslim maybe i don't believe so, further people who don't believe in Christ, etc. I'm not going to point fingers, but those are the options. Maybe it's from someone who completly just wants to believe it another way or maybe barnabas did. I don't believe it was the work of barnabas nor did he even have anything at all to do with it. This scripture is false and disrespectful. I do not question God of the truth when he has already provided it for me, that would be to think God as false. There was no form of paper in Christ's time, scriptures were enscribed onto stone. As i have noted to many nonbelievers "there is no physical proof that God exists and his word is truth and love, but there is no proof that he does not exist or that his word is not truth nor love." Arguing the matter is pointless. The believer has his/her right to believe, and the nonbeliever has his/her right not to believe. In the end neither will truly know who is right and who is wrong until death. Believers may be wrong to an atheist, but that doesn't mean the atheist can insult and shame them for their faith. And believers should not force their faith onto others for it only causes hate and negativity. God wants you to avoid negativity and allow people to see for themselves and choose what path is best for them. If they do not choose christ than that was their call, if they do then it is the believers responsibility to help guid them. Christians are to spread the Christian faith in actions, by being a good and caring person who offers their services to those in need, not bring it down on people like a hammer. Respect and love is to be between all people, everyone is your brother/sister. Say what you want, but if you are to bring harm to another through what you say then do not speak it, keep negativity to your selves and honor other peoples right to their own beliefs and opinions.

    1. Plz read the four gospels and what happened, for example, when Jesus resurrected... none of them agree, 1 woman, 3 women, angels, guards...

And there's just one book because the catholic church burned every single bible that wasn't the one they made in Nicea.

This bible is more thant 1500 years old... have you ever wonder which is the oldest bible?

the oldest one is from the IV century... yeah about 1600-1700 years just after Nicea... what a coincidence, isn't it?

Believers just believe what they want to believe coz they want to believe.. no matter if its proved to be wrong.

    3. All religion & bibles are man written whos to say whats actual facts or fiction and whats to say that some of them were mad men among the sane men making up thier own minds about stories theyve witnessed or heard 3rd or forth parties and so on that creates a form of misconception of the truth.
Well thats my thoughts on the matter and im a true believer in GOD.
Am i wrong maybe so maybe not just like the newly found Barnabas scriptures.
We will all know or sure on our day of reckoning when we die all our questions will be answered.

    4. They didn't use stone. Parchment was invented at least 2000 years before Christ was born.

  8. i also heard about the gospel of st thomas which says that the kingdom of god is within you not sticks and mortar. which as you read it sort of says that you dont need a church to have faith you just need yourself. but as the church is one of the biggest money spinning organisationin the word im sure any new gospels will be debunked

  9. This is why you can not take the bible or any religious books literally. Many different men have interpreted what they believe to be the word of God. Then this BS happens. Just be good to one another.

  13. Why do we argue unnecessarily. After all, the devil is very much aware that, sooner than later, Christ Will come and judge the world. Why won't he device strategies to deceive the few unshaken christians? I always tell my listeners that, till man understands the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, he will always be moved by stupidity and deceitfulness. There is one thing I know: and that's
    1. Jesus Christ is the son of God
    2. He died for our sins and on the third day, He resurrected into His glory.
    3. It is only through Him, man can be saved
